What are the Cabins ?
One must walk 150m up to the cabins, situated just above the gite. There are right on the edge of the chestnut tree groves, at an altitude of 650m and sheltered from the wind, even in the winter. They do not have electricity. The kitchen and shower use manually pumped water from the source. The dry toilet are just a little way below.
There are two very different cabins available.
The Round House
It is completely round, like a delicate bubble: finished with light wood on the inside, and a large bay window opening out to the south, equipped with a wood stove for the cooler nights and a direct access to the terrace, the outdoor kitchen and the shower area.... It is a peaceful place for slowing down, contemplation, walking or just being... In this cabin the bed is made for you, a real treat !
The Tree House
It is a nest perched 5 metres above the ground in a knot of chestnut trees, accessed by a hanging bridge. Comprising of a terrace and a small room, it is an ideal spot for a retreat or young people accompanying their parents. As this cabin is not insulated, it is available only during dry weather.
